There will be ten themed chapters, each exploring a different aspect of the Bouroullecs’ career, an illustrated catalogue detailing all their designs and interviews with key figures and collaborators discussing their work.Anniina Koivu worked as design editor of Abitare magazine in Italy from 2007 to 2011. Graduating as an architect from the Helsinki University of Technology she has written for various Abitare publications and has acted as both judge and speaker at international design competitions. She is now Director of Research and Head of PR & Partnerships at Vitra.
“Stunning… I have been an evangelical follower of [the Bouroullec’s] work… So when their new monograph Works was delivered this week, the excitement was tempered with some trepidation – could it live up to my sky-high expectations. Yes, and them some.”—It’s Nice That
“There is a lightness and simplicity to the book that is entirely in keeping with the brothers’ work. Whole pages are often dedicated to a single product, ensuring that it is given space to breathe and express its individuality.”—The National
“Featuring a wealth of previously unpublished images and drawings from the designers’ workshop and archives… This book will appeal to students, designers, and anybody with an appreciation for beautiful design.”—Mocoloco.com
“The pair’s charming sketches shed light on their creative process.”—ELLE Decor
