This is the first book to present the work of the designers Ronan (b.1971) and Erwan Bouroullec (b.1976), the rising stars of international design and the most promising international designers to have emerged from France since the legendary Phillippe Starck in the 1980s.

Giulio Cappellini is a founding member of furniture manufacturer Cappellini and works with young designers all over the world. He first discovered the Bouroullecs.

Rolf Fehlbaum is Chairman of furniture manufacturer Vitra and commissioned the Bouroullecs to develop a revolutionary new office system.

Issey Miyake, renowned fashion designer, commissioned the brothers to design the A-POC shop in Paris, and other showrooms.
