Description

An oversized collection of 44 James Koehnline collages. With Koehnline, the iconic secret of collage is openly revealed as if by goldleaf and stained glass. Each of his collages can be categorized in a Bosch-like spectrum of paradise, hell, and/or the garden of earthly delights, expressed not metaphysically but in the “heretical body,” in memory of Bosch’s adamite ecstacies.
