Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara, born in Barcelona, Spain, is a writer and creative director in constant search of new concepts for children’s books and the author of the multimillion-copy best-selling Little People, BIG DREAMS series of picture books that explore the lives of outstanding people. Working for more than fifteen years for clients in top advertising agencies, her books combine creativity with learning, aiming to establish a new and fresh relationship between children and pop culture.
Olivia Daisy Coles is a Welsh illustrator living the city of Newport, UK. Olivia graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BA in Illustration in 2016 and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since. Olivia works almost exclusively with colored pencils to create illustrations that represent the colorful, diverse people in the world around her. Using colored pencil, Olivia is able to create vivid, eye-pleasing work that can deal with a wide range of subject matter and that can convey diverse narratives.
