Ours is an age of great upheaval where change sometimes appears to be the only constant. Three of the most important forces driving such change are globalization, regionalization and democratization. Hussein Solomon lectures in the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria where he is also Director of the Centre for International Political Studies. He sits on the International Steering Committee of the Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research in Hawaii, and serves as a member of the Executive Committee of Global Action to Prevent War.
