Christopher Priest’s revolutionary run concludes! It’s Black Panther vs. Iron Man – with Wolverine in the middle! Secrets are revealed, punches are thrown, and King Solomon’s Frogs wreak havoc – but who is the second Black Panther? The action heads forward into the future and back to the Old West! But when and where in the timestream falls the death of the Black Panther?! And with T’Challa gone, who will inherit the mantle? Could it be…the guy with the trenchcoat and guns? Kevin “Kasper” Cole is a man out for revenge, but his quest soon brings him into conflict with corrupt cops and a brutal hunter! As Cole discovers his own heroism, who will join his Crew to handle Big Trouble in Little Mogadishu? Collecting BLACK PANTHER (1998) #34-62, INCREDIBLE HULK (2000) #33, THE CREW #1-7 and THOR (1966) #370.Writer Christopher Priest has penned many Marvel titles — including Falcon, Power Man and Iron Fist, Conan the Barbarian, Deadpool and The Crew — but he is best known for his stunning revitalization of Black Panther for the Marvel Knights line. Priest co-founded Milestone Comics and co-created the fan-favorite Quantum and Woody for Acclaim Comics. Priest’s later Marvel credits include Captain America & the Falcon, Spider-Force and U.S.Agent.
In addition to Deadpool, multitalented penciler, inker and writer Jim Calafiore has worked on many issues of Exiles during its lengthy run, and has an extensive list of credits for both Marvel and DC Comics.
Sal Velluto penciled several issues of Marc Spector: Moon Knight and most of Christopher Priest’s Black Panther run, the latter with his friend and frequent collaborator Bob Almond on inks; later, he contributed to the limited series Doctor Voodoo. At DC, he drew Firebrand and Justice League Task Force. His additional work includes Acclaim’s Bloodshot, Continuity’s Armor, Now’s Green Hornet and Penny-Farthing’s Captain Gravity.
Jorge Lucas’ Marvel credits include art on Black Panther, Incredible Hulk, Mystique, Starjammers, Wolverine: X-Isle, X-Force and X-Men: Colossus — Bloodline. He also took a turn mimicking Jack Kirby himself in the Fantastic Four: The World’s Greatest Comics Magazine miniseries.TR
